Download the tar.gz file to a specific directory, and go there using the cd command.
Then do: tar zxvf downloadedfile.tar.gz
After this the files are extracted into a new directory. cd into this directory and type: ./mysticmine
The game should then start.
The above installation procedure is too difficult for me. Is there another way?
You can do the same thing using a file manager. Just go to the place where you downloaded the file, open it using an archiving program or choose an "extract" action with your right mouse button. After the files have been extracted to a specific directory, click on the mysticmine file to start it.
I get an error when starting the Linux game, what do I do?
Install the pygame package on your system, this should fix it.
Typical errors are 'ImportError: libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory' or 'error: File is not a Windows BMP file'.
If you still get an error, double check to see if you downloaded the right version: There are 2 versions for Linux, one for 32bit and the other specific for 64bit.
I have a different question, what do I do?
